[ The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation ]

This is the Blue Ridge Parkway, America’s most-visited national park, where you’re invited to submerge in Nature’s idylls… and emerge with fresh ideals. The Parkway is a testament not only to the stunning powers of creation, but to the stewardship of those who care about our natural- and national- resources.

One group that’s always looked out for the Blue Ridge is the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation. And that’s why we’ve selected the BRPF as our Entercom 1Thing November Charity of the Month.  Even though the Parkway lies solely within the borders of North Carolina and Virginia, its spirit runs the length and breadth of the nation. It is a living laboratory for sustainability and renewal. It is 81,000 acres of diversity and eco-systems. It deserves protecting, nurturing and appreciating.

This is the SINGLE MOST AWESOME motorcycle ride in the US! Near-perfectly-maintained two-lane blacktop, NO billboards, NO little towns slowing down your groove, and precious little traffic (because nobody takes it to get anywhere). Plus the STUNNING views, of course. For a cyclist, it just doesn’t get any better than this. Please contribute!
