The Trust for Public Land (TPL) is a private, nonprofit land conservation organization that works nationwide to protect and enhance open space for public use. Working with private landowners, communities and government agencies, TPL has helped protect land for people to enjoy as parks, playgrounds, community gardens, recreation areas, historic landmarks and wilderness areas.

The Pacific NorthWest Economic Region (PNWER) is a statutory, public/private partnership composed of legislators, governments, and businesses in the Northwest states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington and the Western Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, and the Yukon Territory. PNWER is the only regional planning and facilitation organization set up in statute by the border states and provinces to deal with transboundary policy and planning in the Pacific Northwest.

The Sierra Club Cascade Chapter (covering all but the Eastern-most counties of Washington State) focuses on protecting our quality of life and natural heritage through outings (hikes and restoration projects), forming committees to protect native species and habitats, electing pro-environment candidates, communicating with legislators and public officials, and holding meetings, seminars and other special events.

Sightline Institute (formerly Northwest Environment Watch) is a not-for-profit research and communication center--a think tank--based in Seattle. Founded in 1993, Sightline's mission is to bring about sustainability--a healthy, lasting prosperity grounded in place. Nonpartisan and wholly independent, Sightline's only ideology is commitment to the shared values of strong communities, fair markets, and responsible stewardship.
The Bicycle Alliance advocates for bicyclists and promotes cycling to build a bicycle-friendly Washington.

The NW Energy Coalition is an alliance of more than 100 environmental, civic, and human service organizations, progressive utilities, and businesses in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and British Columbia. We promote development of renewable energy and energy conservation, consumer protection, low-income energy assistance, and fish and wildlife restoration on the Columbia and Snake rivers.

A diverse group of more than 130 organizations representing environmental, business, labor, sporting, and community interests dedicated to advocating for funding to permanently protect parks and habitat in Washington State. The Coalition makes a difference in local communities by working with elected officials to secure funding for the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP).
