Are you dreaming of all the birds, bees and butterflies you’d like to see in your yard? One of the best ways to encourage wildlife is to provide them with food, cover, nesting sites and sources of water. You can provide many of these items by planting native trees, shrubs and ground cover.
What – you don’t know where to find them and think they may be beyond your budget? Well – say no more – your local conservation district is a great place to look.
Snohomish Conservation District is one of many districts throughout Washington that hosts plant sales to enable residents the opportunity to purchase conservation grade plants at a reasonable cost.
The 2018 Annual Plant Sale is Saturday, February 10.
The date change for last year’s Plant Sale was a success, so we’re keeping it the same this year. Remember it’s a few weeks earlier than in the past to better match the changing planting window. This will give your plants a better start before budding out.
